Product Description
The Boyds Featherweight is a thumbhole design. With a large rollover cheek piece for scope usage and straight comb design to minimize cheek slap when shooting, the hand conforming thumbhole allows for increased accuracy while distributing the recoil among the palm and shoulder thus minimizing muzzle jump and felt recoil. The forend is proportioned to nicely complement barrels from 21 inches to 25 inches in length. The forend also has side vents which permit the free floating barrel to cool efficiently for those long days at the range.

ATTENTION CUSTOMERS: To assemble, you will need to use the two escutcheons and action screws from the original. The trigger guard/floor plate from original stock is not needed. A black plastic trigger guard is included.
All finished parts have been CNC inlet to Boyds House Action. Variations may exist from firearm to firearm, minor fitting may be required to get that perfect fit to your firearm.

Boyd’s featherlite thumbhole stock for a savage bmag
The stock looks amazing and the feel of it is very comfortable. It’s a great price too, fitment was a little tight and I had to go behind and clean up burrs left behind from machining and had to cycle the safety about 20-30 times to get it to free up since it’s such a tight fit. Besides that it’s a great product, made a huge difference in the accuracy of the gun by being able to be a lot more steady while shooting even off a bi-pod.

Boyds stocks rock!
I ordered my stock on a Tuesday and received it Friday!! I immediately installed it with an absolute perfect fit. I had bedded my savage stock and the best I could get was 2" groups at 100 yards.... Now with the Boyd's I can get 1/2"!!!!!! I could NOT be happier with my rifle!! 1022 race rifle is THE BEST company I've worked with in many years. Customer support is over the top!!! Thank you!!!!
