Product Description
Installation is a breeze. You just need a screwdriver, and in a couple of minutes you're ready to head for the range. You can feel the difference the first time you shoot it.
For owners of suppressed 10/22s, the Bolt Buffer™ will significantly reduce the cycling noise of the action by eliminating the slap of the steel bolt on the steel pin. On an acoustically efficient suppressed 10/22, this will make a perceptible difference. With all the custom parts available for the Ruger 10/22, you can very quickly invest hundreds of dollars in it. Without a receiver, all those custom parts are just so many pieces. So why not give your receiver the highest degree of protection available, the Ruger 10/22 Bolt Buffer™.

Should be in gun from factory
Ruger should be using this part instead of the hardened pin they use for end of bolt travel.

Bolt Buffer
It is a simple yet functional piece that does exactly what it claims. It was incredibly easy to install and makes the bolt noticeably quieter. Worth the money.

Buffer pin
Works great, reduced clack when ejecting
-
Polymer recoil buffer
Buffer was a bit wider than the receiver itself causing a difficult reassembly. It appears to be fairly tough and able to handle thousands of bolt cycles.

Great little improvement that does a great big job.
I have these in several .22 lr 10/22's and a 22 mag 10/22. I built 2 more 10/22's for my grandchildren. So I all incorporated a recoil buffer. These really work and easy to install. Slows wear and tear and reduces felt recoil a bit.

Recoil buffer
This little buffer makes a big difference. Less recoil and less noise. I can’t believe the change.
