Rather than invest the time and expense to get your factory Ruger 10/22 barrel threaded, and hope it gets done right, we have drop in replacement barrels in factory taper configuration that are already professionally CNC threaded 1/2x28 TPI and come WITH the thread protector, at a price that's just about what a one off threading job would cost you. The barrels are perfect for any 1/2x28 threaded suppressor or accessory.
The barrels are 4140 series US Certified steel and are polish blued finish. The barrels are 1:16" twist, which is perfect for standard or high velocity ammo. The barrels do not have any iron sights installed and are designed to be used with a receiver mounted scope or similar optics. Installation is fast and easy with no modifications to your rifle. Simply remove the stock, unscrew the 2 cap screws that hold the barrel in, remove your factory barrel and install this new one.
Note that the Aguila HEAVY 60 grain bullet will most likely not stabilize well in this barrel any more than it would in a factory 1:16" twist Ruger 10/22 barrel.

Not an 18.5 inch barrel
Not an 18.5 inch barrel according to federal regulations. It is a 17.75 inch as is measured from the receiver to the tip when installed. Thankfully it just barely made my rifle legal or I would've contacted for a refund or replacement. Was shipped with no packing at the ends!!! Threads were ok but the thread protector was damaged. Put extra cardboard at the business ends please, as most do. The spin grooves are much finer than a typical barrel. Not an issue for my needs, but might be for some. Seems like a quality part, but NEEDS TO BE MEASURED CORRECTLY.
