This magazine well fits magazines where the latch is part of the magazine. If your Long Action Savage rifle has a plastic stock with the magazine well molded into the stock and not transferable to another stock, you will need this piece to make our stock with a Detachable Magazines fit your rifle. This part is not required for the Savage Axis or Edge rifles. Machined black anodized aluminum material.
