Shaw Custom manufactures a wide range of high quality replacement barrels for popular rifle makes, and their Ruger 10/22 replacement barrels are among the best. Shaw 10/22 barrels are available in 4140 or 416R stainless steel, are button rifled, and feature a Bentz chamber making them excellent competition and target rimfire barrels. Shaw barrels are proudly made in the USA.

Shaw manufactures their barrels to very tight tolerances, that are more consistent than the tolerances of the forged actions. Because of this it is not uncommon for barrels to have a bit of play in the action. If this is the case simply be sure to tighten the V-Block screws evenly and be sure the extractor groove lines up. Others may be tight and require a light tap to get the barrel seated. Shaw does not recommend the use of hyper-velocity ammunition in their barrels.

Shaw 10-22 tapered barrel
Installation was no problem. I followed the recommended break in and the accuracy is fantastic. High praise.

18" Shay tapered 10/22 barrel
Barrel fit well, snug but not difficult to install. centering the extractor in the extractor slot was easy. Accuracy was excellent! Finish and appearance is great.

Shaw barrel
The Shaw tapered 10/22 barrel is perfect.Installation was easy everything lined up with out any problems.I followed Shaws break-in recommendations and was shooting 1/4" groups at 25 yds. The hardest part of installation was removing the original barrel. The new Boyd Hunter stock REALLY set it off.
