ATTENTION CUSTOMERS: Shaw manufactures their barrels to very tight tolerances, that are more consistent than the tolerances of the forged actions. Because of this it is not uncommon for barrels to have a bit of play in the action. If this is the case simply be sure to tighten the V-Block screws evenly and be sure the extractor groove lines up. Others may be tight and require a light tap to get the barrel seated. Shaw does not recommend the use of hyper-velocity ammunition in their barrels.

Hot and heavy
Of course, I know that bull barrels are heavy. This one was heavier than I expected, but that is okay, because it fits like a dream into my 10/22 receiver. It looks fantastic. I have not had the opportunity to take it to the range but I have no doubt it will blow my mind with accuracy and function. I could not be happier. R&S is the best at getting your order out and taking care of their customers. I will always go to R&S first.
