ATTENTION CUSTOMERS: Shaw manufactures their barrels to very tight tolerances, that are more consistent than the tolerances of the forged actions. Because of this it is not uncommon for barrels to have a bit of play in the action. If this is the case simply be sure to tighten the V-Block screws evenly and be sure the extractor groove lines up. Others may be tight and require a light tap to get the barrel seated. Shaw does not recommend the use of hyper-velocity ammunition in their barrels.

My Custom .22 rifle
I bought this Barrel for my Custom .22 that I assembled myself, the truth is that this rifle is the envy of my friends, it is spectacular, I have shot hundreds of times and it works perfectly, I highly recommend it

Shaw Barrel
Outstanding quality! I broke the barrel and just like the Shaw website said too. With factory target ammunition oh shoot 5/8” groups at 100 yards. Phenomenal was not expecting anything that good. The action is bolted not bedded just bolted into a Boyds stock. Best 10/22 barrel I have ever used to this date.

quality workmanship
Barrel looks vantastic, I colored in the flutes black, the locating nib was spot onsize with factory nib unfortunately my receiver ID was washed out giveing me the dreaded barrel droop, so I had no choice but to have the barrel and receiver theraded to get me back on center, but I will loose the bentz chamber as Smith is reworking the chamber to a bullet fit and redoing my crown, didn't need that but came with the package
